You can do it!

What are you dreaming about?
What do you want to accomplish in life?
What would you do if you couldn't fail?
If money wasn't an issue?

Too many times we allow what we don't have to keep us from expanding what we do have. We sit on the sidelines watching life pass us by hoping for someone to see our potential and give us a shot. I'm encouraging you to take your shot. You were created to do something that this world needs. Stop waiting on someone to notice you and make something happen.

If you want to write a book, start with a blog - you can send those out for free. Get some feedback, improve and then write that book even if you have to sell it out of your trunk!

If you think you are the next great singer or musician, sing in the park, the barbershop or your next family reunion. Maybe your uncle has a friend in the business.

If you want to lose weight, put the cookies down, put on your shoes and hit the door.

Don't be afraid of hard work. If it's worth having it's worthing working for. Don't be afraid of being different. Only those who stand out are remembered. Don't be afraid of being told no. Everyone who has done anything great has been told their dream was too lofty, too extravagant or too difficult. Silence your critics by accomplishing what they say can't be done.

You only get one chance to live this life. When you stand at the end of your life, will you see all you have accomplished or all the opportunties you missed waiting on someone else to notice you? The choice is yours, but just so you know....I think you can do it!

I have found this to be so true. I decided to step outside of my comfort zone and made a few calls to people I did not know or had ever heard of. Two weeks later I am doing the work I love. I could have waited until "the time was right" or I could just start, which is what I did.

Just start!! Do something... Potential will not bring success, proper action will. How many tombstones read "She had great potenial"? None...

Thanks Mom, it was after repeatedly listening to "Strageties to Recover" and "Faith to Manifest You" that I decided to take control of my life by pursuing the dreams God had placed inside.

If we did not ever think out of the box or in this case "step outside are comfort zone. What would we believe in then and how boring life would be!

Love your blogspot! I love the layout that you chose...very modern-chic and sassy. As for the message, you already know I think it's great. I really benefited from the comment posted by "njohn" too. The internet is such a great place for sharing ideas and positive motivation.

I'll stay tuned... Congrats on getting started!

Love ya!

I really like this.. I think it's awesome that we are now givinggg Christians some practical teachings, instead of just sitting back and waiting on God.. The fact is that God has already done it

Very nice. It's funny how God works. My pastor preached on dreaming big last nite. I guess it's a word for me & I'd better listen.

You hit the nail on the head.. to often people want others to do more for them than they're willing to do for there own selves. We were all created for a purpose and wiht greatness.. it's just some of us never realize that greatness or embrace our purpose. Shun you've answered your own question on "if" you should write a book....I'll be looking for it in the near future.

Great blog! Everything you said is so true. Now people just need to do it. I pray that they will ... as for those that don't ... well they better get the freak out of my way because I will be caught making my destiny happen!!! I look forward to your next post. You are truly talented and a gift to the internet community.

We make life so difficult for ourselves. No one wants to work any more, being in this fast food, fast pace society that we live in now. In the scripture, "The race is not given to the swift, but to the one who endureth" does not mean (in my interpretation) that we have to fight our way to our goals or be the first one achieve the goal or be in haste. Life is not a contest of speed but consistency and forward movement.

Our lives are a platform for making decisions, working smart, and staying focused on the goals we have set before us... better yet what God has destined for us.

Great Insight! I shall always be changed by the revelation that it takes forward movement to be GREAT!
